Have a Stroll on the Sydney Bridge

Imagine you walk on the world-famous Sydney Bridge, take in the panoramic views of Sydney’s iconic attractions and interact with the locals and tourists from all around the world, waving your hands at them! Climbing the Sydney Bridge is the number one must-do activity in Sydney!

Your adventure starts as soon as you step through the Sydney Harbour Bridge Visitors Centre. The friendly staff there will equip you with all the necessary outdoor gear including a specially-designed bridge climbing suit. Then it is time to put on your headsets and get securely clipped into a safety wire.

After a comprehensive safety briefing, your climb leader will lead the way as you ascend the arches of the bridge step by step. Enjoy iconic vistas of Sydney as you climb and take in the view of “the most beautiful harbours on earth”, featuring landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House, Circular Quay and more. Throughout your climb, your climb leader will entertain you with stories about the history of the bridge. Learn about its construction, the disastrous opening ceremony in 1932 and also hear stories about its place in more modern celebrations. If you reach the summit of the bridge, you’ll receive a commemorative certificate, a Bridge Climb cap and a group photo to celebrate your accomplishment.

There are multiple choices of climbing packages aiming for different participants. If you’re short on time or are afraid that your physical ability may not finish the full climbing experience, the Sydney Bridge Climb Sampler would give you a taste of the world famous BridgeClimb with only 1.5 hours duration. You’ll reach halfway to Summit and have a climb of a total of 556 steps.

Accelerate your ascent to the Summit with the Sydney Bridge Climb Express. You’ll climb a total of 1,002 steps and reach the Summit in 2.5 hours.

Or go all out with the Sydney Bridge Climb tour and absorb a 360 degree panorama view of Sydney, taking approximately 3.5 hours and 1,332 steps. In this tour, you can also choose to climb at dawn, daytime, twilight or at night! The dawn climb operates once a month only, so remember to check the date to see whether it is within your vacation schedules.

What are you waiting for? You haven’t seen Sydney until you see it from the top of Sydney Harbour Bridge!
